So unexpectedly today, Rocksteady made a decision to verified they are, in fact, working with a game based on Suicide Squad that will be introduced at DC Fandome later in the month. It’s long been reported this held true, however the programmer made a decision to remove all uncertainties it seems. Rocksteady has been radio quiet since the release of Arkham Virtual Reality in2016 We do not recognize a lot concerning this game right now, but we do have some new possible information concerning when it began development, and when we can, and also can not, expect to see it on shelves.
Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier required to his official Twitter to talk about the surprise announcement. There he talked about the Suicide Squad game from WB Montreal that was terminated (you can check out this with below), which Rocksteady’s take came into being roughly somewhere in the late 2016 or early 2017 range. Despite that, Schreier does say not to anticipate far more than a tease at Fandome, stating the game is still a methods off. As constantly, take these sorts of records as report, but Schreier is one of the much more reputable sources.
We’re not also certain what the video game will be called at this point, though a recent website registration points to Suicide Team: Eliminate the Justice League, which matches with the recent tease. DC Fandome will certainly be on August 22 nd, so we will, ideally, obtain a much better picture then.
Some included context for today’s announcement: WB Montreal was servicing a Self-destruction Team game until it was canceled in late2016 Eventually (end of 2016? 2017?), Rocksteady began theirs. The game will be teased at DC Fandome, however I wouldn’t expect it for some time
